Modern digital electronic fuel injection systems optimize these goals more effectively and consistently than previous systems and have been able to better atomize the fuel.
The fuel injection ensures a smoother throttle response, fast gas reaction times, an easier cold start, an accurate setting of the fuel taking into account changes in ambient temperatures and air pressure, and a more stable idling with the main aim of reducing vehicle emissions.

When the injectors are clean, engine performance is maintained and component-related fouling errors and breakdowns are reduced, emissions levels are met and fuel efficiency is increased.
